About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Understand business challenges and manage market research to guide commercial decisions
  • Support the assigned therapeutic or business area for US and global markets
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to influence decision-making
  • Work closely with the Team Leader
  • Support primary market research activities with senior team members
  • Develop research and analysis plans
  • Draft requests for proposals and articulate hypotheses to be tested
  • Select appropriate agency partners
  • Manage research processes to understand customers, competitors, products, and market developments
  • Adhere to compliance requirements
  • Manage budgets and modify plans and budgets as business needs change
  • Manage agency partners in designing surveys, analytical plans, and research reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS required
  • Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing, marketing/sales support, analytics, or business analytics/finance
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically and objectively
  • Ability to apply market research methods and models
  • Familiarity with basic research techniques
  • Ability to lead teams in execution of market research
  • Interest in ongoing learning
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license stated in the requirements, although the posting also states “Valid Driving License: No”
  • Preferred: MBA/MS
  • Preferred knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Preferred knowledge of the US healthcare environment
  • Preferred experience in a large multinational corporation
