About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer accounts in the Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension business
  • Generate demand for company products and build relationships with healthcare providers and office staff
  • Engage and support account executives who secure formulary access
  • Design and execute account strategies addressing local customer needs
  • Manage the overall customer experience within target accounts
  • Develop account insights, conduct quarterly strategic planning, coordinate account strategy execution, and track progress
  • Provide approved disease and product information and resources to patient care teams
  • Share target profiles to support identification of appropriate patients
  • Educate providers on appropriate product administration and patient support programs
  • Coordinate with customer-facing roles to meet care team needs compliantly
  • Plan and host medical education events and support company presence at congress and society events
  • Build provider-provider connections and partner with headquarters roles on thought-leader events
  • Cover the state of Colorado, including Denver, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and Fort Collins
  • Travel approximately 25% depending on candidate location and business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years Sales experience OR high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in healthcare industry
  • Equivalent experience may include professional sales, healthcare/scientific work, professional marketing, or military experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
  • Keen interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior management, thought leaders, and customers
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including conveying complex scientific and public health concepts
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to contextualize decisions into broader corporate strategies
  • Technological proficiency, including MS Office Suite and iPad
  • Preferred: advanced degree such as MBA or PharmD
  • Preferred: minimum of 2 years current/recent Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension market experience
  • Preferred: minimum of 2 years current/recent rare disease product experience
  • Preferred: 2+ years of healthcare account management experience
