About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, validate and maintain analysis and reporting deliverables for HTA dossiers
  • Plan projects and provide statistical programming leadership
  • Ensure deliverable quality and compliance with departmental SOPs and good programming practices
  • Collaborate with HTA biostatisticians, project stakeholders and project team members
  • Create analysis datasets, tables, listings and figures from clinical trial data using multiple programming languages
  • Perform development and validation activities according to departmental SOPs
  • Participate in departmental strategic initiative teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related analytical field plus 5–9 years programming experience in R and/or SAS, or MS in one of these fields plus 3–7 years of R and/or SAS programming experience
  • Significant expertise in R and SAS clinical trial programming, including data processing, statistical procedures, graphing and tabulation techniques, systems and databases
  • Working knowledge of statistics, clinical and data management concepts applied to drug/vaccine development in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards
  • Experience developing analysis and reporting deliverables for R&D projects
  • Business fluency in English, oral and written
  • Project leadership and ability to complete tasks independently at project level
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and across cultures and geographies
  • Ability to learn new programming techniques and data structures
  • Ability to interpret analysis plans and statistical terminology
  • Experience ensuring process compliance and deliverable quality
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into tactical activities
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration
