About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage Value and Implementation projects of moderate complexity and partner with seasoned project managers on high-complexity projects
  • Drive cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive strategies and execute projects
  • Guide teams through creation, approval, and execution of integrated project plans
  • Integrate strategic and tactical input from Medical Affairs, Outcomes Research, Market Access, Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences, Commercial, and other disciplines
  • Build and maintain project plans and critical project information in enterprise project management systems and databases
  • Identify risks, integrate activities, and ensure communication with team, management, and cross-departmental stakeholders
  • Leverage relationships and networks to improve team dynamics and remove obstacles
  • Navigate company processes and organizational norms to enable decision-making
  • Prepare, facilitate, and document team meetings, including surfacing and resolving conflict
  • Complete ongoing training and personal development activities
  • Monitor GPAM processes and tools and contribute to change and process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in a scientific or applied discipline preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management or a related role required
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MPH, MS, MBA, Ph.D., PharmD) preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of different components of value and implementation strongly preferred
  • Project management certification (PMP) and/or formal coursework/training in project management strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage moderate-complexity projects independently or partner on high-complexity projects
  • Project management skills, including project planning, project management information systems, project resource management, and project implementation
  • Knowledge of biostatistics, outcomes research, data analysis, change management, clinical trial management, and GMP
  • 10% travel required
  • No visa sponsorship
