Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting scientific research and business operations
  • Collaborate with software engineers, scientists, and product teams to deliver solutions addressing real-world challenges
  • Learn and apply cloud platforms, AI-assisted development tools, web frameworks, and data platforms
  • Contribute to applications using AWS, React, Python, Databricks, Power Platform, GitHub, and SharePoint
  • Support adoption of AI-enabled solutions and explore emerging technologies that create business value
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
  • Document solutions and share knowledge with team members
  • Contribute to Agile product teams through planning, development, and delivery activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals, including programming, testing, debugging, and version control
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to learn new technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional
  • Exposure to one or more of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, AWS, Azure, Databricks, GitHub, or Power Platform is preferred
  • Interest in AI, data analytics, cloud computing, or scientific computing is preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices is preferred
  • No visa sponsorship
  • 10% travel requirement
