About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support customers by providing clinical information on company vaccines, education, and resources
  • Support customer operational and financial needs, including reimbursement information and contract adherence
  • Help providers and health systems increase immunization rates and protect patients from vaccine-preventable diseases
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned geography
  • Engage health care providers and business professionals in balanced product sales presentations
  • Provide Vaccine Management with updates on customer needs, feedback, marketplace dynamics, and quality-goal progress
  • Maintain professional and health care environment knowledge through self-study, workshops, conferences, and promotional-material review
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews regarding vaccine contracts and educate customers on maximizing contract performance
  • Assist customers with education and tools such as Vaccine IQ to improve immunization rates
  • Monitor business performance against objectives using company-provided tools
  • Develop a territory-level business plan focused on improving immunization rates
  • Maintain knowledge and certification across the company vaccine portfolio and CDC immunization schedules
  • Act as primary contact for select customer accounts and identify business opportunities
  • Coordinate with customer teams to develop account strategies aimed at improving immunization rates
  • Travel approximately 25%, varying by candidate location within the geography

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years Sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Relevant work experience may include professional sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field experience
  • Demonstrated aptitude to excel in current or previous educational or professional roles
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to convey technical concepts accurately and clearly
  • Prior experience in a technical/scientific field or healthcare environment preferred
  • Previous sales, account management, consultative, or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience developing and executing a plan for engaging customers and meeting customer needs preferred
  • Understanding of Marketing/Sales and/or Marketing/Sales Support Functions/Operations preferred
  • Ability to analyze metrics to assess progress against objectives preferred
  • Vaccine experience preferred
  • US and Puerto Rico residents only
