About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support customers by providing clinical information on company vaccines, education, and resources
  • Help providers and systems address reimbursement, contract adherence, and immunization rates
  • Serve as primary point of contact for healthcare providers, quality directors, immunization managers, and office managers within the assigned geography
  • Execute customer visits across clinics, health departments, integrated delivery systems, and hospitals
  • Deliver balanced product sales presentations aligned with product labeling, CDC recommendations, and professional society recommendations
  • Provide Vaccine Management with updates on customer needs, feedback, marketplace dynamics, and quality-goal progress
  • Maintain professional, healthcare-environment, product, and marketplace knowledge through self-study, workshops, conferences, and promotional-material review
  • Use analytical tools to conduct quarterly business reviews regarding vaccine contracts
  • Educate customers on maximizing contract performance across the company portfolio
  • Assist customers with education and tools such as Vaccine IQ to improve immunization rates
  • Monitor business performance against objectives using company-provided tools
  • Develop territory-level business plans to improve immunization rates in accordance with company policies, standards, and ethics
  • Maintain product knowledge and certification across the company vaccine portfolio and CDC pediatric and adult immunization schedules
  • Manage selected customer accounts as primary point of contact and identify business opportunities
  • Coordinate customer strategies with Account Executives, Integrated Delivery System teams, and Solutions support teams
  • Collaborate with the local Customer Team and field-based employees
  • Travel approximately 25%, varying by candidate location within the geography
  • Report to Stacey Horne

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 (36 months) or more years Sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 6 years of equivalent experience
  • Equivalent experience may include professional sales, marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field experience that is not sales related
  • Strong ability to build trust with customers and demonstrate value in selling situations
  • Ability to segment customer populations by characteristics and buying behaviors
  • Ability to assess market potential, identify opportunities and risks, develop territory plans, and drive business results
  • Ability to understand account interdependencies and maximize account performance through collaborative business planning
  • Ability to convey technical concepts accurately and clearly
  • Tenacity to drive and achieve measurable results
  • Ability to overcome setbacks to meet or exceed objectives
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills
  • Ability to utilize new or existing technologies innovatively
  • Ability to use data to analyze trends and drive business results
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Vaccines experience preferred
  • Understanding of Marketing/Sales and/or Marketing/Sales Support Functions/Operations preferred
  • US and Puerto Rico residents only
