About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and deliver operational and accredited training to the guarding workforce, client stakeholders, and third parties
- Report to the General Manager within the Defence portfolio
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Develop proactive learning strategies and responsive learning interventions
- Consult with operational leaders to determine learning priorities
- Develop and maintain a national training calendar with local RTO partnerships
- Develop custom, client/site-specific training tools and resources for operational staff
- Coach and develop others in applying adult learning concepts
- Manage multiple online learning systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Knowledge of security, defence or similar industries
- Strong administrative skills to develop professional, appealing, and easy-to-use learning materials
- Experience developing competency frameworks
- Capacity to produce visually appealing, easy-to-interpret reporting
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
- Ability to work in ACT, NSW, or VIC state offices
