Strategic Governance and Controls Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in Corporate and Strategic Governance, with a multidisciplinary scope covering management systems, compliance, risk management, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and corporate sustainability
- Monitor corporate initiatives, KPIs, deadlines, commitments, and results
- Prepare executive information to support senior management decision-making
- Strengthen governance and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence, supporting the advancement of the AI Mindset and AI-First strategy
- Prepare, distribute, and manage production deliverables
- Analyze and approve payments to allocated third-party contractors
- Reconcile monthly billing by comparing planned versus actual results
- Prepare annual production projections based on historical statistical analyses
- Develop scenario studies and simulations
- Manage Federal, State, and Municipal Clearance Certificates
- Execute client onboarding and approval processes, including training on specific platforms
- Support S&OP management and demand tracking through CRM systems
- Manage contracts, monitoring expiration dates and renewals
- Map, plan, execute, and monitor task and internal control automations
- Maintain management systems related to ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
- Lead internal audits and follow up on external audits
- Manage corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement actions
- Manage standards-related KPIs
- Manage data and AI inventories
- Promote a culture of data privacy and information security applied to AI
- Conduct process assessments through DPIAs and AIAs
- Support knowledge management in Confluence
- Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and review documents
- Support Data Governance initiatives
- Support ESG and corporate sustainability initiatives
- Support the development and implementation of AI-driven KPIs
- Deliver mandatory training through client platforms
- Develop and deliver internal training using AI tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience or knowledge aligned with work in Corporate Governance and management systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards
- Qualification as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 27001
- Knowledge of process management, internal controls, KPIs, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with different areas of the organization
- Knowledge of or qualification related to ISO 42001
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence Governance
- Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), privacy, and information security
- Experience in Data Governance
- Knowledge of DPIAs and AIAs
- Experience with ESG and corporate sustainability initiatives
- Experience with process automation and the use of Artificial Intelligence to improve processes and internal controls
- Experience with Confluence and CRM tools
