About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build functional prototypes with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor
  • Understand truck drivers' and fleet owners' challenges and translate them into intuitive mobile experiences
  • Lead discovery, challenge assumptions, identify problems to solve, and drive solutions from concept through launch
  • Influence the strategy and evolution of Mudflap's iOS and Android apps
  • Own the design process end to end, from research and prototyping through execution, iteration, and launch
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering
  • Stay close to customers and move quickly from insight to execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of product design experience
  • Deep expertise designing and shipping exceptional native iOS and Android experiences
  • Exceptional product thinking and visual craft
  • Advanced Figma skills
  • Strong interaction design
  • End-to-end product ownership from identifying customer problems and shaping strategy through prototyping, execution, and launch
  • Experience independently conducting research and testing ideas
  • Strong business instincts connecting design decisions to customer behavior, product strategy, and measurable business outcomes
  • Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI tools
  • Experience actively leveraging LLMs to build functional prototypes and accelerate iteration
