About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the Change Management process, including risk assessment of changes
  • Organize and chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Organize and chair release technical assessments and publish release packages
  • Coordinate change planning and implementation; publish the forward schedule of change
  • Identify root causes and resolutions for unsuccessful changes
  • Gather information and track change requests and release implementations
  • Investigate and document impacts and scheduling risks affecting production environments
  • Mediate conflicts involving scheduling, approvals, and documentation
  • Coordinate with incident, problem, release, and configuration management
  • Distribute change schedules within agreed timeframes
  • Close and archive completed change records
  • Communicate technical change activities and impacts to broader IT clients and provide tool and systems support
  • Report performance data, issues, and review follow-up
  • Produce documentation and reports for internal or external audits
  • Support ITIL process implementation
  • Provide regular reporting on change requests, including exceptions involving high-impact, aborted, and unauthorized changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • 7-10 years’ experience with execution and application of change management processes and procedures
  • Understanding of Change Management process utilizing ServiceNow
  • Experience with the integration of CMDB and the change management process
  • Experience with generating and presenting change management reporting/metrics to business and technical organizations
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies, SDLC, Release Management, DevOps, Agile, CI, and CD
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance directives affecting banking
  • COBIT framework practitioner or certification a plus
  • ITIL Certifications a plus
  • ITIL Change Management, Control, and Validation certificate preferable
  • Leadership, analytical and critical-thinking, decision-making, collaboration, strategic thinking, and continuous-improvement capabilities
