About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently contact primary schools by phone, through in-person conversations, and, where appropriate, via on-site visits
- Become familiar with after-school care structures and programs
- Supported onboarding and training
- Transition into educational work with children in courses and extracurricular groups starting in the autumn half-term
- Deliver STEM courses and workshops for children and young people aged 8 to 15
- Lead courses or work as an assistant, depending on experience, independently or as part of a team
- Prepare and follow up on workshops; some tasks can be completed remotely
- Organize and use the STEM educational games kit
- Help develop new content
Requirements
What you’ll need- Interest in and curiosity about STEM subjects (e.g., physics, technology, biology, and computer science)
- Enthusiasm for working with children and young people
- Initial experience in working with children and young people, educational support, or workshop delivery is an advantage but not required
- Sense of responsibility, reliability, and team spirit
- Initiative, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn about our subject areas
- Excellent German language skills at a native-speaker level
