Senior Business Systems Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted bridge between business partners and IT
- Manage service requests and assigned projects
- Analyze business processes and align with strategic goals
- Lead data analytics initiatives to continuously improve systems
- Meet with business partners to clarify needs, navigate IT intake, identify technical solutions, and champion priorities
- Facilitate requirements gathering, process analysis, product evaluations, UAT, and end-user training
- Create user stories, system diagrams, technical documentation, test automation, and developer specifications using AI tools
- Lead small IT project plans, schedules, and resources
- Guide Agile development teams through implementation
- Evaluate business value, risks, and total cost of ownership for new requests
- Manage account portfolios
- Collaborate with the Department of County Human Services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree; equivalent years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Three (3) years or more experience in complex project documentation, requirements, business specifications, process analysis, and User Acceptance Test plans
- Experience with analytical and consultative support for IT systems, including operation, maintenance, enhancement, and advanced troubleshooting
- Experience advising and influencing business partners on technology solutions and facilitating decision-making aligned with business and IT strategy
- Experience coordinating and managing vendor activities for third-party solution delivery and integration
- Experience using AI tools to solve technical problems and support the software development process
- Required cover letter addressing how minimum qualifications are met
- Ability to pass a criminal records check
- All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington
- Unable to sponsor work visas, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, or STEM OPT

- Project Management Certification preferred
