Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree; technical degree, with Chemistry highly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience
  • Team-based selling experience in sales, technical, or product management
  • Chemical industry experience required
  • Performance chemical experience is a bonus
  • Specialty additives for industrial and automotive markets preferred
  • Defoamers/antifoams experience preferred
  • Silicone release agents experience preferred
  • Must live in the Midwest region, preferably Michigan, Illinois, and surrounding states
  • Travel 60% in the field
  • Basic understanding of industrial and automotive market regulations/compliances preferred
  • Ability to work an eight-hour shift in an office environment or sales field
  • Ability to drive for long periods for travel
  • Ability to sit for long periods in a home office
  • Ability to use a phone and computer daily
  • Ability to travel overnight, including up to two weeks per month
  • Ability to fly approximately once per month
