About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage ERP finance projects based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
Analyze existing finance and accounting processes and develop appropriate target processes
Advise customers and gather business requirements in close collaboration with them
Design and implement finance modules, particularly general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cost accounting
Configure and parameterize ERP systems
Manage data migrations, interfaces, and testing processes
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user training
Support go-live phases and provide post-go-live support
Contribute to effort estimates, proposal processes, and presales activities
Further develop ERP solutions and finance functionalities
Independently manage and shape complex ERP finance projects for customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central in a consulting or project environment
In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting, particularly general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cost accounting
Experience implementing ERP projects from requirements analysis through go-live
Practical experience with data migrations, interfaces, and ERP implementations
Very good German language skills at C1 level or higher
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
Willingness to attend occasional customer meetings within the DACH region
Experience with controlling modules is an advantage
Knowledge of Power BI and system integrations is an advantage
Experience with additional ERP systems is an advantage
Experience contributing to the development of customer-specific ERP extensions is an advantage
Initial experience in functional or disciplinary project management is an advantage
