About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct 30-minute one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with members
Cover financial topics including budgeting, debt reduction, credit management, retirement planning, investment education, insurance basics, and home buying
Provide unbiased financial education; MSA sells no financial products and neither does the coach in this role
Tailor each session to the member's goals, situation, and starting point
Briefly document topics covered after each session
Maintain member confidentiality at all times
Choose coaching topics aligned with strongest expertise and set availability

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-years of experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education
Familiarity with financial systems in the Brazil
Working knowledge across budgeting, debt management, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and/or home buying
Fluency in English (spoken and written) and Portugese
Moderate technical proficiency — able to independently use a computer, basic software applications, and a CRM system to document sessions
Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional space to conduct sessions
Certification in financial coaching or planning (CFP, CPA, CFA, licensed financial planner/bank wealth manager, or similar) is a nice to have
Experience coaching across diverse populations and financial backgrounds is a nice to have
Must pass a standard background check if required by the company
May be required to submit to a drug test
