About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct 30-minute one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with members
Cover financial topics including budgeting, debt reduction, credit management, retirement planning, investment education, insurance basics, and home buying
Provide unbiased financial education; no financial products are sold or pushed
Tailor each session to the member's goals, situation, and starting point
Briefly document topics covered after each session
Maintain member confidentiality at all times

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-years of experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education
Familiarity with financial systems in the Colombia
Working knowledge across budgeting, debt management, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and/or home buying
Ability to explain financial concepts in plain, understandable language
Fluency in English (spoken and written) and Spanish
Moderate technical proficiency, including independent use of a computer, basic software applications, and a CRM system to document sessions
Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional space to conduct sessions
Certification in financial coaching or planning (CFP, CPA, CFA, licensed financial planner/bank wealth manager, or similar) — nice to have
Experience coaching across diverse populations and financial backgrounds — nice to have
Must submit a brief cover letter, resume or CV, and any relevant certifications
May be required to pass a drug test and standard background check
