About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform the initial screening process and manage the daily patient queue
- Document interactions with potential candidates
- Conduct daily candidate screenings in the Myomo Doxy waiting room
- Perform administrative and clinical screening functions
- Learn the Myomo device and inclusion/exclusion criteria to identify potential MyoPro candidates
- Review educational materials and resources to become a clinical expert on the Myomo product line
- Participate in ongoing training and observation with the Patient Eligibility Manager
- Train with Regional Managers through observation of candidate measurement, delivery, and evaluation
- Demonstrate knowledge through practical evaluations and written assessments
- Provide constructive feedback to improve clinical skills
- Collaborate with the Patient Eligibility Manager to enhance operational efficiency
- Identify and report customer needs, improvement opportunities, and potential sales opportunities
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current on certification, licensure, and clinical requirements
- Practice quality assurance measures for Myomo products
- Report areas for improvement to the Patient Eligibility Manager
- Maintain the CRM and update patient documentation in a timely manner
- Attend industry conferences and meetings as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's may be preferred
- Allied Health background (PTA, COTA, Orthotic Fitter, Orthotic/Prosthetic Assistant etc.) required
- Orthotic and/or prosthetic experience beneficial
- High speed internet and a dedicated home office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well organized, self-motivated, and able to demonstrate integrity and initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly professional, tactful, and courteous conduct
- Effective communication, problem solving, and adaptability
- Strong dedication to teamwork and commitment to clinical excellence
- Ability to quickly master technology
- Intermediate or advanced skills with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Some travel for periodic meetings and/or initial training may be required
- Experience with myoelectric upper extremity prosthetics and/or upper extremity orthotics preferred
- Background in sales or clinical education within a healthcare environment is a plus
