About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage onboarding and ongoing technical support for multiple complex projects automating electronic orders and results
Perform preliminary assessments of new data sources
Assist clients and project managers with effort estimation and project-scope refinement
Lead development, testing, and support for networking and interoperability solutions between Myriad and external clinics and providers
Apply programming concepts and tools, including source control, development-environment management, code merges, and deployments
Serve as technical lead and advocate for best practices and improvements in interface implementations and data transformations
Provide training and ongoing technical support to non-technical teammates
Navigate difficult client conversations with professional written and verbal communication
Create detailed project documentation for clean handoffs to support teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
Living full-time in the United States
Expert knowledge in HL7 (V2.x), with ability to read specifications for HL7 v3 (C-CDA), FHIR (r4), IHE ITI, or EDI X12 (Claims)
Expert proficiency in Mirth, including JavaScript or other common interface engines
Ability to administer, set up, maintain, and automate interfaces
Understanding of network protocols, connectivity types, and secure interoperability solution design
Intermediate SQL proficiency, including complex joins, limited to querying and reporting
Software engineering fundamentals for web-based and cloud-based applications
Ability to investigate and troubleshoot production issues on multiple platforms
Exposure to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) concepts and processes
Active Advanced Mirth Certification preferred
Python and/or software development knowledge is a bonus
