About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as Chief Financial Officer and central member of the Leadership Team
  • Act as a close strategic partner to the CEO
  • Build financial infrastructure, governance, and discipline for a business spanning technology, regulated healthcare services, and multiple jurisdictions
  • Lead buy-side M&A execution, including deal structuring, due diligence, valuation, and integration
  • Build and manage the financial structure across the Netherlands, the US, and India
  • Develop transfer pricing policies, intercompany arrangements, and multi-party revenue recognition frameworks
  • Serve as the finance function’s primary interface to the Supervisory Board
  • Establish investor-grade reporting rhythms and board governance discipline
  • Translate operational reality into reporting for the sponsor and Board
  • Prepare the company for future fundraising, strategic sale, or other exit
  • Build financial track record, audit readiness, and data room discipline
  • Lead and strengthen the lean finance team and build on the existing FP&A foundation
  • Shape the financial roadmap for international scale and long-term value creation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven CFO or strong CFO-1 experience in a high-growth, investor-backed business, ideally in healthtech, healthcare services, life sciences, or another complex international platform environment
  • Buy-side M&A execution experience is a firm requirement, including deal structuring, due diligence, valuation, and post-deal integration
  • Hands-on experience with transfer pricing, intercompany structures, and multi-party revenue recognition across at least two of Europe, the US, and Asia
  • Direct experience with board reporting rhythms, supervisory board obligations, and private equity or growth equity sponsor accountability
  • Experience in compliance-intensive environments, ideally healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated domain
  • Experience leading finance at this scale and raising the capability of a small team
  • Experience running or closely supporting an equity or debt capital raise
  • Ideally, direct exposure to a sale process, IPO, or other exit event
  • Comfortable reviewing deal models, writing Board memos, and working hands-on with the team
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to connect mission to economics and challenge constructively
  • Clear standards, high accountability, and proactive roadblock removal
  • Ability to translate financial complexity into a clear narrative for the CEO, Supervisory Board, and cross-functional leaders
  • Must already live within commuting distance of the Amsterdam headquarters
  • Visa sponsorship may be relevant for work in the Netherlands
