About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support implementation and administration of the Indigenous Women and Youth Entrepreneurship (IWYE) Program and related initiatives
  • Review proposals, assess funding, and support reporting
  • Draft and manage contribution agreements and contracts
  • Monitor funding programs, reporting requirements, KPIs, and microloan program activities
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate program records
  • Review financial claims and expenditures for compliance with funding agreements
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Resolve issues related to claims, reporting, and funding requirements
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and coordinate with internal finance teams
  • Ensure accurate financial coding and record management
  • Contribute to business resources, training, workshops, program planning, and performance monitoring
  • Support special projects, campaigns, and emerging initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous Financial Institutions (IFIs)
  • Serve as a key contact for program support and guidance
  • Participate in meetings, events, and engagement activities
  • Support development and delivery of training programs
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and program partners
  • Assist with conferences, training sessions, and event logistics
  • Support procurement activities, including RFPs and vendor contracts
  • Provide administrative support, document management, and inventory coordination
  • Collaborate across NACCA programs to support organizational priorities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • 3–5 years of related experience in program administration, finance, contracts, or a similar role
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations is an asset
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and cross-cultural competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Occasional travel required, including some overnight travel
  • Evenings and/or weekend work may be required
  • Ability to work in a typical office environment with prolonged sitting and computer use
