About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as an Associate Principal Engineer and UKG Pro Solution Consultant
- Provide enterprise, application, integration, data, security and API architecture
- Design HCM integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware/iPaaS, event-based and batch interfaces
- Integrate UKG Pro with ADP Payroll and Workday Timekeeping
- Integrate with IAM, Finance/ERP, Benefits, Talent, ServiceNow or similar HR service platforms, and data/analytics platforms
- Model systems of record and data ownership
- Run architecture governance and act as design authority
- Lead architecture discussions with HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, IT, Security, Integration and business stakeholders
- Facilitate discussions and communicate architecture decisions across functional and technical domains
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in HCM/HR technology and enterprise solution architecture
- 5+ years of hands-on UKG Pro experience, ideally in architecture or solution leadership roles
- Experience in complex enterprise landscapes where UKG Pro, ADP and Workday coexist
- Experience with global HR organizations spanning multiple countries and legal entities
- Deep knowledge of UKG Pro People Center / Core HR and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes
- Experience across Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance, Talent, Document Management, People Assist and Reporting & Analytics
- Strong knowledge of UKG Pro security, roles, workflows, employee data, organizational structures and integrations
- Experience designing HCM integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware/iPaaS, event-based and batch interfaces
- Experience with data transformation and mapping, integration monitoring and reconciliation
- Mandatory integration with ADP Payroll and Workday Timekeeping
- Experience integrating with IAM, Finance/ERP, Benefits, Talent, ServiceNow or similar HR service platforms, and data/analytics platforms
- Knowledge of enterprise, application, integration, data, security and API architecture
- Knowledge of cloud and SaaS architecture
- Experience with system-of-record and data-ownership modeling
- Experience running architecture governance and acting as design authority
- Ability to work across functional HR and technical architecture domains
- Ability to lead architecture discussions with HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, IT, Security, Integration and business stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and written communication
- UKG Pro certifications preferred
- Hands-on experience with an iPaaS platform preferred
- Experience with HR data privacy regulations such as GDPR preferred
- Prior experience leading large HCM implementations or platform consolidations end to end preferred
- UKG Pro mandatory skill
