About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for enterprise healthcare implementations
- Understand client business use cases and technical requirements and convert them into technical designs
- Own the overall Health Cloud technical strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and HIPAA/PHI compliance
- Advise business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership on Health Cloud capabilities and best practices
- Review and approve high-level and low-level technical designs
- Ensure Salesforce best practices, governor-limit optimization, performance tuning, and code-quality standards
- Guide teams on Salesforce security, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance
- Bridge business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and Developers on scalable solutions
- Validate solution feasibility against Salesforce capabilities and project constraints
- Prepare process flows, business process models, functional diagrams, and documentation
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Support user adoption through training materials, user guides, and release notes
- Analyze existing Salesforce implementations and recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities
- Define NFR guidelines and benchmarks
- Write and review architecture, framework, and high-level design documents
- Review architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and NFRs
- Develop and design solutions for functional and non-functional requirements and define technologies, patterns, and frameworks
- Resolve code and design review issues through systematic root-cause analysis
- Conduct proofs of concept to validate proposed designs and technologies
- Mentor team members and maintain high delivery standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5.5+ years of total experience
- Ability to lead end-to-end Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for large, enterprise healthcare implementations
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud features, including Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management
- Experience translating complex healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions
- Experience driving architectural decisions across Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation
- Hands-on leadership experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs
- Experience defining and governing integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7
- Strong understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management
- Experience leading requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Experience providing technical governance, conducting design/code reviews, and managing architectural risks and technical debt
- Experience leading and mentoring multi-shore Salesforce teams, including developers, admins, QA, and offshore delivery teams
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins
- Experience collaborating with program managers on scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments
- Experience driving innovation and continuous improvement, including PoCs, new Salesforce Health Cloud features, and platform enhancements
- Experience participating in roadmap planning, release strategy, and long-term platform evolution
- Strong experience in Agile/Scaled Agile environments, sprint planning, and release management
- Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
