About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop end-to-end features, working across the backend and frontend and following the entire development lifecycle through to production.
Lead technical initiatives from solution design through delivery, breaking down requirements, implementing, testing, and rolling out changes to production.
Enhance React applications and Node.js services while maintaining quality, performance, and maintainability.
Evolve the platform architecture (monolith and/or microservices), balancing short-term decisions with long-term sustainability.
Build resilient integrations using retries, timeouts, idempotency, circuit breakers, and fallback mechanisms.
Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Support the production environment by investigating incidents, proposing improvements, and participating in postmortems.
Use AI tools as part of the development process to increase productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
Mentor less experienced developers and actively contribute to the team’s technical growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks such as NestJS and/or Express.
Solid experience with React and modern web application development.
Ability to independently develop end-to-end features, working across the frontend and backend.
Knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs, messaging, integrations, and distributed systems.
Experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
Experience with automated testing, observability, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
Familiarity with AI development tools (AI-first), using them as part of the daily workflow.
Strong communication skills, ownership, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other developers.
English proficiency.
