About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the technical partner for customers, driving deployments from ideation to production
  • Translate customer problems into clear requirements, including PRDs, workflows, and success criteria, and build them
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Solutions teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver on time
  • Maintain structured project documentation, including plans, trackers, and status updates
  • Own end-to-end testing and validation before every customer release
  • Support customers through occasional travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years as a Forward Deployed Engineer, software engineer, ML engineer or equivalent
  • Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar
  • Ability to proactively surface customer challenges during onboarding
  • End-to-end ownership mindset
  • Humble, collaborative attitude with a high-output, multi-project operating style
  • Startup experience preferred
  • Founder or founding engineer background is a plus
  • Bay Area based
  • Ability to commute to the Palo Alto, CA office twice a week
