About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process applications for CPA Examination Services, NASBA Licensing, and NASBA’s International Evaluation Services
- Process applications for candidates and stakeholders
- Receive incoming mail via carrier or electronic submission
- Match documents accurately and promptly to the respective applications
- Acknowledge and check in new applications
- Search for documents received before application submission
- Send outgoing emails to candidates about incomplete applications
- Track and log outgoing incomplete emails
- Open and scan incoming mail
- Name transcript PDFs using standard naming conventions
- Download and save electronic transcripts
- Match individual documents with candidate applications
- Update application statuses and resolve queue items according to department procedures
- Analyze and prepare international documents for NIES applications according to country-specific procedures
- Protect customers’ personally identifiable information (PII)
- Adhere to documented policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in required training
- Participate in NASBA-related and team events
- Collaborate with NASBA departments, employees, boards, candidates, and external stakeholders
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to report to work on time and manage time off throughout the year
- Ability to meet minimum daily task expectations
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet established work timelines
- Basic problem solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills
- Considerable knowledge of standard office technology and ability to learn and effectively use specialized software to edit and organize professional documents
- Skilled in working with details and accuracy in preparation of documents
- Ability to set and follow effective work priorities, organize work for efficient processing and meet established deadlines
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff, Executive staff, and candidates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional research skills and high attention to detail
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Cross-cultural sensitivity
- 1 year experience in a customer service role
- Effective analytical/problem solving, multi-tasking and research skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Good data entry and typing skills
- Punctual and dependable
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college preferred
- Must live in the Middle TN area and not out of state
- Must work in the Nashville, TN office two days per week or as needed
- May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate
- Successful completion of national criminal background check and other applicable screening checks
