About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full vendor contract lifecycle, including prospecting, negotiating terms, mitigating risk, and resolving issues
- Lead annual budget planning and recurring budget reviews
- Monitor marketing expenditures, flag variances, and report budget status
- Track vendor and spending performance metrics and maintain accurate data
- Oversee invoice processing and payment operations
- Identify friction points and implement scalable solutions and standard operating procedures
- Translate marketing strategy into operational roadmaps
- Evaluate, select, and integrate systems, applications, and technology
- Lead change management and adoption for tools and workflows
- Explore, implement, and drive adoption of AI tools
- Liaise with Finance, IT, and People & Culture
- Serve as project manager for assigned cross-functional and external-partner projects
- Orchestrate annual marketing strategic planning and plan check-ins
- Create, evolve, and automate reporting for leadership, boards, committees, and partners
- Implement professional development, team-building, and technology-fluency programming
- Lead logistics for team meetings, retreats, and project-related travel
- Protect sensitive and confidential information and data integrity
- Report to the Director of Content & Campaigns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management or business operations
- Experience ideally within a national or multi-site organization
- Proven track record negotiating vendor contracts and managing budgets of significant scope and complexity
- Proficiency with Asana, Canto, AI (Generative, Agentic, and emerging functionality), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with marketing operations platforms strongly preferred
- PMP or similar certification preferred, not required
- UX or Human Centered Design experience preferred, not required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace are required

- Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment
