About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversees and manages all aspects and functions of the Funding Department
- Manages the Funding Leadership Team within the assigned territory, ensuring duties meet or exceed NSM standards
- Coordinates with divisional, regional, branch, assistive technology, leadership, and support personnel to complete Funding procedures according to company policy and timelines
- Manages transaction cycle time from Ready to Process to Funding Approval
- Coordinates hiring, training, mentoring, performance, continuing education, and career development of the Funding Specialist Team
- Develops and maintains training materials, guides, and progress reporting
- Manages career development of the Funding Leadership Team
- Monitors productivity, quality, and compassion of Funding Specialists and Lead Funding Specialists
- Directs work order caseloads and shifts responsibilities when necessary
- Coordinates temporary coverage to ensure timely, high-quality order processing
- Shares Key Performance Indicators with direct reports and stakeholders
- Calculates and requests monthly bonus payments for direct reports
- Manages the credit exception process for expedited delivery when appropriate
- Resolves employee and client conflicts and escalates unresolved issues
- Performs payroll and administrative functions for direct reports
- Completes continuing education on company policies, procedures, payer issues, and updates
- Performs related duties assigned by the Division Funding Director
- Carries out position expectations professionally and with minimal supervision
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations
- 2 years of experience managing a minimum of 10 direct reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to review, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions and governmental regulations
- Must meet minimum productivity and quality standards
- Must maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Must adhere to the work from home policy and requirements
