About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and manage all aspects and functions of the Funding Department
Manage the Funding Leadership Team within the assigned territory and ensure duties meet or exceed NSM standards
Coordinate with Divisional Vice Presidents, Regional Area Directors, Branch Leaders, Assistive Technology Professionals, and other leadership and support personnel
Manage transaction cycle time from Ready to Process to Funding Approval
Coordinate hiring, training, mentoring, performance, continuous education, and career development of the Funding Specialist Team
Develop and maintain training materials, guides, and progress reporting
Manage career development of the Funding Leadership Team
Monitor Funding Specialist and Lead Funding Specialist productivity, quality, and compassion
Direct work order caseloads and shift responsibilities when necessary
Coordinate temporary coverage to ensure timely, high-quality order processing
Share Key Performance Indicators with direct reports and stakeholders
Calculate and request monthly bonus payments for direct reports
Manage the credit exception process to expedite delivery when appropriate
Resolve employee and client conflicts and escalate unresolved issues
Handle payroll and administrative functions for direct reports
Complete continuing education and research payer issues and updates
Perform related duties assigned by the Division Funding Director
Carry out position expectations professionally and with minimal supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations
2 years of experience managing a minimum of 10 direct reports
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to review, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions and governmental regulations
Must meet minimum productivity and quality standards
Must maintain regular and predictable attendance
Must adhere to the work from home policy and requirements
Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, and use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
