About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversees and manages all aspects and functions of the Funding Department
  • Manages the Funding Leadership Team within the assigned territory
  • Coordinates with Divisional Vice Presidents, Regional Area Directors, Branch Leaders, Assistive Technology Professionals, and other office leadership and support personnel
  • Manages transaction cycle time from Ready to Process to Funding Approval
  • Coordinates and manages hiring, training, mentoring, performance, continuous education, and career development of the Funding Specialist Team
  • Develops and maintains training materials, guides, and progress reporting
  • Manages Funding Specialists and monitors productivity, quality, and compassion
  • Directs work order caseloads and shifts responsibilities when necessary
  • Coordinates temporary coverage to ensure orders are worked timely and with quality
  • Coordinates and shares Key Performance Indicators with direct reports and stakeholders
  • Calculates and requests monthly bonus payments for the direct report team
  • Manages the credit exception process to expedite delivery when appropriate
  • Handles employee and client conflict resolution
  • Manages payroll and administrative functions for direct reports
  • Completes continuing education related to job duties, company policies, procedures, payer issues, and updates
  • Performs related duties assigned by the Division Funding Director with minimal supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations
  • 2 years of experience managing a minimum of 10 direct reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to review, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions and governmental regulations
  • Must meet minimum productivity and quality standards
  • Must maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Must adhere to the work from home policy and requirements
