About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, counseling, therapy, advocacy, and support
- Travel daily to provide community-based services to youth and families
- Complete required documentation and training in a timely manner
- Achieve established productivity thresholds
- Coordinate and monitor mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services
- Review and modify youth-based plans to ensure progress toward written goals
- Establish and maintain relationships with foster parents and families of origin
- Assist with family reunification and stabilization efforts
- Provide safety assessments, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities
- Participate in weekly supervision
- Support the organization’s mission, vision, values, agency goals, and co-workers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution
- 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Automotive insurance and a good driving record
- Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours
- Capacity to be flexible and responsive to youth served, foster caregivers, system partners, and internal customers
- Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function
- Capacity to work respectfully with people from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, and word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
