Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain features for the FinTech application using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.x
Write clean, well-documented, efficient code focused on performance and maintainability
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to deliver software solutions
Work with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical designs and features
Participate in code reviews and share best practices
Write unit and integration tests
Debug and resolve issues
Help ensure software meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
Suggest and implement improvements to development processes, tools, and technologies
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, knowledge-sharing engineering environment
Follow security and compliance best practices
Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
2-4 years of professional experience in Java 21 with Spring Boot 3.x
Strong expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API development
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency in Git
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and SonarQube
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficiency in automated testing, including JUnit, Mockito, and PITest
Preferred: Knowledge of Jenkins, Kubernetes, and other DevOps automation tools
Preferred: Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React
Preferred: Understanding of payment systems, transaction processing, and data security in FinTech applications
Preferred: Awareness of compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS
