About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and build relationships with existing and prospective corporate banking customers in the East Midlands area
  • Book appointments and prepare well-researched collateral for customer and prospect meetings
  • Assist with services and sales portfolio administration activities
  • Focus on attracting new customers
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers and prospects with relevant products and services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience and knowledge of corporate banking
  • Knowledge of corporate banking systems, processes and products
  • Ability to work with limited supervision on routine banking tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work to customer deadlines and expectations
  • Understanding of credit and lending principles
  • Ability to prepare high quality pitch documents
