Key responsibilities & impact

Set the strategic direction of the team, supported by senior technical members
Take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of strategic and tactical projects
Deliver agreed business outcomes and coordinate technology and change teams
Ensure project deliverables achieve customer goals within a well-considered total cost of ownership
Safeguard and build the bank's reputation while interacting with stakeholders
Align work with software development principles across the bank
Deliver architectural and functional improvements to technology and the business
Drive and contribute to the technology strategy roadmap
Understand and incorporate requirements from programmes involving the project team
Influence delivery plans and coordinate delivery across multiple projects and deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading and managing development teams
Knowledge of key phases of software delivery lifecycles
Knowledge of established software development methodologies
Extensive experience in integration services and product development management across Apigee, Apigee Hybrid and X
Ability to confidently present as a subject matter expert to large audiences
Ability to quickly understand complex processes and tailor messages to different audiences and stakeholders
Extensive background in regulatory and third-party risk management governance
PMP (Project Management Professional) qualification
Experience working within Scrum and SAFe Agile ways of working
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience delivering projects across geographically dispersed teams
