About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coach and guide the team to perform at its highest level and at a sustainable pace
  • Remove impediments to progress
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Protect the team from outside influences or distractions
  • Work with the product owner to ensure the product backlog is in good shape and ready for the next sprint
  • Ensure the Scrum team understands Agile practices, the Scrum framework, and its values
  • Help the team deliver working software to satisfy platform customers and respond quickly to their needs
  • Transform the Scrum team into a self-organising team using Systems and Lean thinking
  • Act as process owner for the team
  • Maintain relationships with key project stakeholders
  • Build a culture of safety and continuous improvement through people leadership, coaching, engagement, and skills development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience of successful Scrum adoption
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Knowledge of modern development practices and tools
  • Background in coaching cross-functional teams into high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience building a culture of transparency within feature teams
  • Experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and SAFe practices
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple teams and complex technology initiatives
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks
