About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage complex share plan projects to deliver a positive share plan experience for colleagues
- Advise on share plan and share-based remuneration issues while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
- Advise on implementation and operation of the bank’s share plans
- Work with internal stakeholders in Reward & Employment, Tax and Treasury, and external advisors
- Manage and support share plan grant and vest events, including share sourcing and settlement strategy
- Oversee the annual Sharesave offer and maturity
- Lead the share plan global due diligence project with external legal and tax advisors
- Provide practical and commercial advice on discretionary and all-employee share plan rules
- Own, draft and ensure timely publication or submission of share plan disclosures, reports and filings
- Manage day-to-day relationships with the share plan administrator and external advisors
- Use feedback, data insights and industry best practice to improve colleague experience and financial education
- Curate the share plans communications strategy and ensure collateral is clear, accurate and engaging
- Support the wider Corporate Governance team on share-based remuneration issues, policy reviews, director shareholding policies and share dealing queries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep knowledge and experience of the design, compliance and delivery considerations of operating share plans globally
- Experience of global share plan legislation and administration
- Knowledge of the remuneration regulatory framework applying to financial services organisations
- Collaborative team player capable of building good working relationships up to executive level across the bank
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, anticipate problems, react to changing priorities, challenge others and assert views when required
