Key responsibilities & impact

Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure and robust solutions
Work within a feature team using extensive experience to engineer complex software, scripts and tools
Liaise with engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform
Produce complex and critical software rapidly and with high quality
Work in permanent teams responsible for the full lifecycle from development through enhancement, maintenance, replacement or decommissioning
Collaborate to optimise software engineering capability
Design, produce, test and implement working code
Work across requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least two to four years experience in Python, AWS Cloud, ReactJS, DynamoDB, along with knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-to-on-premises/external system integrations
Hands-on experience in Contact Centre technologies, including Amazon Connect (AWS Voice Technologies) and Cisco, with the ability to design and support voice-based cloud solutions
Experience of DevOps, Testing and Agile methodology and associated toolsets
A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems
Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture
Understanding of how the area of expertise supports customers
