About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and deliver supply chain solutions and third-party oversight
- Support business owners in establishing and maintaining appropriate third-party relationships aligned with NWM's strategic goals
- Oversee supplier risk and materiality assessments
- Translate supplier, contract, incident and control information into clear actions and decisions
- Maintain process maps, standard operating procedures and documentation related to third-party processes
- Coordinate and guide global business and contract owners through relevant assessments
- Work with Supply Chain and other specialists to resolve gaps, support proportionate decisions and maintain an appropriate audit trail
- Support NWM's environmental, social and governance (ESG) approach
- Support contract owners with supplier risk and materiality assessments and challenge supporting evidence
- Review supplier incidents and control or performance information to assess NWM's risk exposure
- Use supplier dashboards, risk appetite measures, assurance results and contract information to identify emerging risks, gaps and required actions
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Technology, Operational Resilience, Information Security, Legal, Risk and business stakeholders to support supplier decisions and governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in supply chain, third-party risk management, supplier oversight or operational risk
- Knowledge of ICT contracts, including service levels, data and security, audit and access rights, subcontracting, resilience, termination and exit provisions
- Experience applying supply chain skills and techniques to business strategy, supplier selection and management
- Experience assessing supplier risk and materiality, challenging evidence, and guiding contract owners and subject-matter experts through proportionate, well-documented decisions
- Broad understanding of global regulatory expectations for third-party risk management, outsourcing, ICT third-party risk and operational resilience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to identify risk exposure from supplier incidents and present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
