About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Produce business requirements to inform future state design
  • Support teams in understanding and linking requirements to the overall domain strategy
  • Research, understand and keep up to date with industry thinking, best practice, technology and customer trends
  • Elicit and understand internal and external technology customer needs
  • Analyse, refine, synthesise, translate and document requirements in an accessible form for stakeholders
  • Work across teams and stakeholders to capture, validate and document business and system requirements
  • Ensure requirements align with strategic principles and are translated from business operations, objectives or external requirements
  • Interact with customers, key stakeholders and the team to obtain and document functional and non-functional needs
  • Support analysis of business requirements and technical specifications into small testable and releasable elements
  • Write business requirements, user stories and epics using relevant techniques
  • Support creation and execution of test scenarios and test scripts
  • Identify and support cut-over and implementation tasks
  • Facilitate UAT and support platform and feature teams in executing UAT

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least eight years of experience
  • An appropriate business analyst certification such as BAX, CPRE or CBAP
  • Experience in data analysis, including the ability to write and interpret medium-complexity SQL queries
  • Knowledge of working with APIs, including an understanding of request and response payloads
  • Experience in delivering high-quality UI/UX outcomes
  • Ability to read and understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at a foundational level
  • Experience working independently and effectively managing ambiguity with minimal supervision
