Key responsibilities & impact

Lead software development and deliver quality results for Navitus Health Solutions
Provide overall leadership and direction for software development teams evolving legacy applications into modern, supportable applications
Collaborate using Agile practices to achieve outstanding customer experiences and positive, on-time, within-budget outcomes
Focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results
Foster people leadership, hire team members, and provide performance mentoring
Collaborate with Product Owners and leaders from Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and the Enterprise Project Management Office
Build relationships with application business owners to deliver software meeting internal and external customer needs
Manage and develop managers responsible for software development
Develop and maintain an accountable department delivering high-quality code
Stay current with modern software development technology, including Artificial Intelligence, and evolve the software development strategy
Establish and deliver KPIs and metrics for managing and reporting performance
Communicate development progress and status to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent work experience, required
10+ years of IT Management experience, including direct leadership of software development teams, required
Experience with modern technologies, architectures, and agile development methods
Experience with cloud-first development and microservice architectures or strategies
Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to improve development efficiency and delivery accuracy
Experience with .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, and React
Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps
Experience managing and applying agile methodologies
Experience developing advanced automation testing frameworks and using performance testing methodologies
Experience delivering quality software that meets business needs using agile methodologies
Compliance program participation and support
Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
