About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and lead the developer relations strategy for a new interactive entertainment platform
Manage early partner engagement through broader platform availability
Build and nurture relationships with experienced developers and studios
Bring developers and studios in early to build projects on the platform
Represent developer needs internally and translate partner feedback into priorities for product, engineering, and design
Partner with product and engineering to shape developer tools, documentation, and workflows
Build and lead a developer relations team including developer advocates, community managers, and technical support
Create and scale onboarding programs, sample projects, tutorials, and educational content
Establish partner and incentive programs with business development, legal, and marketing
Represent the platform at industry events, conferences, and online developer communities
Track developer ecosystem health metrics including adoption, retention, and satisfaction
Monitor emerging technology trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience in game development, interactive entertainment, or developer-facing technology
5+ years in developer relations, developer ecosystem, or partnership leadership roles
Proven track record of building and scaling developer communities for a technology or entertainment platform
Strong technical foundation with hands-on familiarity with game engines
Ability to engage credibly with engineers and technical developers
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Experience managing internal teams and external partners
Deep understanding of the gaming and interactive entertainment industry and current developer trends
Good understanding of current AI-centric trends, technologies, and development possibilities
Experience launching a developer program or platform for external partners
Great communication and presentation skills
