About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce and distribute daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting for senior management and business stakeholders
- Analyse financial and operational KPI data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key performance drivers
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support informed decision making
- Support forecasting, budgeting and planning processes through high-quality analysis
- Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to understand information requirements and provide meaningful analysis
- Challenge assumptions, investigate performance variances, and highlight areas requiring management attention
- Assist in preparing financial presentations, management reports and dashboards for senior leadership
- Collaborate with team members and the wider finance team on ad hoc analysis, projects and strategic initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, automation and data quality across the finance function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Ability to interpret financial and operational information and communicate key messages clearly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation
- Proactive, curious and commercially minded approach
- Adaptive Planning/Workday Financials experience (desirable)
- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to non-finance audiences (desirable)
- Understanding of financial modelling techniques (desirable)
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge constructively
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on the wider business context
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Willingness to take ownership and drive improvements
- Eager to learn and develop towards broader FP&A and Finance Business Partnering responsibilities
