About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead technical accounting analysis and documentation for complex and non-routine transactions
Analyze consolidation under ASC 810, including VIE assessments, primary beneficiary determinations, and voting interest model analysis
Analyze revenue recognition under ASC 606, including multi-element arrangements, usage-based pricing, and contract modifications
Handle lease accounting under ASC 842 for data centers, equipment, and build-to-suit arrangements
Address construction and capital projects, including capitalization, impairment, and interest capitalization
Support business combinations and investments, including purchase accounting and valuation coordination
Analyze debt and equity financing transactions, including convertible instruments, warrants, and embedded features
Prepare and review technical accounting memos and position papers
Support preparation and review of SEC filings, including 20-F and 6-K footnotes and disclosures
Use Workiva, Active Disclosure, and Toppan Merrill Bridge to prepare and manage SEC filings
Partner with Legal, FP&A, Tax, and Operations on accounting implications of contracts and strategic initiatives
Monitor and implement new accounting pronouncements
Collaborate with external auditors and lead discussions on technical accounting positions
Support SOX compliance and improve internal controls over financial reporting
Improve financial reporting processes, documentation, and scalability
Assist with ad hoc capital markets, M&A, and global expansion projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
7–10 years of experience; Big 4 or national public accounting firm experience required
Public company experience strongly preferred
Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, including strong experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842
Experience applying ASC 810 consolidation guidance, including VIE assessments, identification of variable interests, and primary beneficiary analysis
Experience with complex transactions such as M&A, financing arrangements, and capital projects
Strong experience with SEC reporting and financial statement disclosures
Hands-on experience with Workiva, Active Disclosure, or Toppan Merrill Bridge
Exceptional technical writing skills, including preparation of accounting memos
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Experience in AI, cloud infrastructure, data centers, or high-growth technology companies
Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and provide proof of employment eligibility
Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure or hardware-intensive business models is an added bonus
Experience with NetSuite ERP system is an added bonus
Exposure to international operations and multi-entity structures is an added bonus
