About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform delegated patient activities assigned by licensed nursing personnel to achieve the patient’s plan of care
- Provide quality patient care under the direction of licensed practitioners
- Provide professional and engaging customer service to patients and others
- Promote efficient operation of the clinic
- Assist physicians and support staff
- Assist with daily clinic operations
- Perform additional tasks within scope of practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 16 years of age required for CNA
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required
- Effective communication skills required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program, required
- High school education or equivalent required for Medical Assistant
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program required
- Current Medication Aid Registry listing, or completion within the first 30 days of hire or transfer date, required if administering medications
- Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience in a physician’s office preferred
- Experience in a related area preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish ability preferred for certain clinics
- Medical assistant certification preferred
- Medical Scribe experience preferred
