About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build robust software testing infrastructure for cloud-native mobile and web applications
Track quality across the software development lifecycle
Enable quality as a member of technical teams
Develop automation and testing strategies beyond manual functional testing
Authorize application releases after testing against test and regression plans
Develop metrics to detect software defects early in development
Participate proactively in requirements processes and guide development teams
Focus on automated regression testing for critical functionality
Automate testing using QA automation tools
Facilitate communication, collaboration, and optimization across DevOps
Focus on continuous integration to identify defects early
Set up early-warning detection and production health systems
Integrate automated continuous testing into the SDLC to support continuous delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant tertiary qualification
At least 3 years’ experience in software testing
Minimum 2 years’ experience in test automation
Passion for cloud technologies
Technical knowledge and experience setting up automation frameworks for testing
Experience with Selenium or similar automation language
Experience with Postman
Experience with Microsoft App Center or similar mobile test automation
Experience with SQL
Knowledge of QA best practices
Ability to produce results with minimal supervision
