About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pack checked picked items according to defined quality standards, either in parcels or on pallets
  • Pick the items required to prepare orders from inventory using a PDA/mobile scanner
  • Put received goods away in inventory using a PDA/mobile scanner
  • Carry out stock transfers to optimize warehouse operations
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative checks on orders received from suppliers
  • Receive goods delivered by suppliers
  • Conduct semi-annual and cycle counts
  • Work with the Logistics Manager, Team Leader, and Logistics team
  • Achieve individual and collective targets defined with the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Required experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar position
  • Excellent physical fitness is essential
  • Dynamic, thorough, and precise
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Sense of responsibility and adherence to safety procedures
  • Versatile and self-directed
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Good analytical and summarization skills
  • Proficient in IT tools and the WMS inventory management system via a PDA/mobile scanner
  • Experience in order picking, from single-parcel orders to full pallets
  • Proficient in packing and packaging techniques suitable for fragile and oversized products
  • Quantitative and qualitative inspection of deliveries
  • Compliance with safety procedures and safe lifting and handling practices
  • Use of material-handling equipment: manual pallet truck and stacker truck
  • CACES R485 Stacker Truck certification preferred
  • Availability to work occasionally during peak periods (Christmas and sales seasons)
