About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead CE compliance files for industrial assemblies
  • Assess the applicability and requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU) and the ATEX Directive (2014/34/EU)
  • Verify the compliance of pressure equipment integrated into packages
  • Conduct and update risk assessments
  • Compile and update technical compliance files
  • Perform documentary reviews of equipment and components supplied by subcontractors
  • Verify the compliance of machinery and equipment integrated into the assembly
  • Prepare and update CE marking and associated documentation
  • Prepare ATEX and PED files
  • Verify the ATEX suitability of integrated equipment
  • Coordinate exchanges with the Notified Body (NB)
  • Follow up on and track requests from the Notified Body
  • Respond to the NB’s comments and requests for supporting documentation
  • Monitor design changes and determine their impact on certification
  • Coordinate activities with project, quality, engineering, and supplier teams
  • Participate in equipment compliance inspections and final validation of compliance files
  • Work on industrial projects for a leading energy-sector client

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree or Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, pressure equipment, or regulatory compliance
  • Significant experience in an industrial environment
  • Thorough knowledge of the fundamental principles of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and pressure equipment is essential
  • Good knowledge of ATEX and CE certification
  • Relevant experience: 5–10 years, 2–4 years, 2 years, or 1–2 years of work-study experience
  • Availability for a full-time permanent position
