About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deploy the HSE policy across the relevant projects, industrial sites, or facilities
- Identify, analyze, and assess occupational, industrial, and environmental risks
- Update the occupational risk assessment document and related risk analyses
- Define and monitor corrective and preventive action plans
- Conduct audits, inspections, and on-site safety visits
- Participate in analyses of accidents, incidents, and hazardous situations, and propose preventive measures
- Develop and update HSE procedures, instructions, prevention plans, and documentation
- Prepare and lead safety briefings, training sessions, and awareness initiatives
- Ensure activities comply with HSE regulations and internal standards
- Participate in the management of external contractors and monitor prevention plans
- Track HSE indicators and prepare reports for management and clients
- Support project teams in managing risks during the design, construction, installation, and commissioning phases
- Participate in safety and environmental management initiatives in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Monitor regulatory developments and propose continuous improvement actions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in HSE, QHSE, industrial risk management, environmental studies, or a related field
- Initial significant experience in health, safety, and environmental management within an industrial environment, construction site, or infrastructure project
- Proficiency in occupational and industrial risk assessment methods
- Proficiency in HSE prevention tools
- Good knowledge of French regulations governing occupational health and safety and environmental protection
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and lead HSE meetings and awareness sessions
- Proficiency with IT tools
- Ability to draft technical documents and structured reports
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Availability for occasional travel to project sites, depending on project requirements
