About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary logistics contact for business teams
Oversee operations, coordinate activities, and develop processes
Track orders and delivery timelines through to receipt
Follow up with suppliers and anticipate shortages and delays
Organize domestic, European, and international transportation
Coordinate carriers and freight forwarders
Manage import/export formalities, disruptions, damage, and disputes
Control transportation costs
Supervise receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipping
Ensure inventory accuracy, equipment traceability, and returns tracking
Consolidate the needs of different business activities and liaise between business teams, procurement, suppliers, and service providers
Produce reports and monitor performance indicators
Analyze existing flows
Draft and implement SOPs, operating procedures, and checklists
Create simple tracking tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced professional, with approximately 5 years’ minimum experience in operational logistics
Bachelor’s or Master’s-level education in logistics, transportation, or supply chain, or equivalent experience
Strong working knowledge of procurement, physical flows, international transportation, and service-provider relations
Experience in an industrial, technical, B2B distribution, or growing SME/mid-sized company environment is a plus
Demonstrated experience formalizing processes
Proficiency in Incoterms and import/export operations
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with ERP/WMS systems
Professional working proficiency in English
Self-directed, thorough, pragmatic, versatile, and able to collaborate without direct hierarchical authority
Location: Gennevilliers warehouse (92)
