About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and assemble medical record documentation and charts for physicians
  • Ensure medical record compliance through self-documentation attestation
  • Update patient history, physical examination, and other pertinent health information
  • Prepare and send documentation to physicians for review and approval using detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures
  • Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures
  • Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements
  • Perform clerical duties to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Spanish bilingual medical virtual assistant
  • Previous US Healthcare Experience (in BPO or as a Virtual Assistant)
  • English (Required)
  • Laptop/Desktop with at least i5 processor and 8gb of RAM
  • Internet speed of 35mbps and above
  • Noise-cancelling headset/webcam
  • Dedicated place at home for work
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission-related policies and compliance
  • Medical record documentation and data-entry experience
